The shorter (36 inch) Dancing Helix is perfect when space requirement demands the shorter length. Such times as a playful cat, or currious toddler. It is perfect for office use, such as a dentist's operatory, when space is at a premium. If space is not the issue, go to the medium length. It has much more play and movement in its dance with the longer length.
