While designed specifically for Dancing Helix, these motors are great for turning any other twirly things into a special indoor kinetic sculpture. When used with a Dancing Helix, the intermittent cycle of three minutes on and three minutes off brings greater complexity to its dance and creates a truly mystifying sight.

We now stock the adaptor for $8. It comes with a 12 foot cord and allows you to plug your motor into a wall plug.
Suggestion: For variable speeds of rotation, buy a lamp external slide dimmer and put it into the circuit.
When using an AC transformer and your Dancing Helix seems to be going too fast, try using the slide dimmer in the circuit to slow it down.
